Signed to a record deal at their first gig in 1994, Kicking Harold found themselves recording a debut album only a few months after their first jam in a dark Los Angeles rehearsal room. Formed "just for fun" by three transplanted friends from Tucson, the band was soon touring the US on the national radio success of popular songs like "Kill You", "Fred's New Dress" & "Down on You". The word spread quickly and their indie album "Ugly & Festering" was scooped up by MCA Records and re-released in 1996 with the band continuing to tour and enjoy airplay coast to coast. After the implosion of MCA records, Kicking Harold released two albums, "Return of the Bulb Men" (1997) and "Space Age Breakdown" (2002) on independent record labels with the single "Gasoline" from "Space Age Breakdown" being featured as the main theme for 4 seasons (2004-2008) on TLC's hit automobile make-over show Overhaulin'. Fueled by over 1,000,000 views of it's music video on YouTube and the re-airing of Overhaulin' worldwide, “Gasoline” continued growing in popularity until founding member and singer-guitarist Tim David Kelly, who had put the band on ice to work full time as a song-writer and music producer (Shiny Toy Guns, Dokken), decided it was once again time to fire up Kicking Harold's engine and step on the gas.
