There are at least two artists with the name Kick Me 1. A hardcore punk rock band from Westchester, NY. (active from 1998 to 2002) 2. A punk and metal band from Richmond, CA. (active from 2006 to present) 1.Kick Me was a hardcore punk rock band hailing from the bowels of Westchester, NY. They existed in one form or another roughly from 1998 to early 2002. The core membership consisted of Abe Speakeasy, Akira Kondo, Dan Getler, Marxist Mike, and Dom Elefante. Numerous other bands have performed using the Kick Me name, however, the "real" Kick Me will always consist of the aforementioned members. Kick Me rose from the ashes of the project 16 string assault and spawned several side projects, including C4 and Righteous Indignation. The members have reconvened for several small reunion tours, usually sans Marxist Mike, who left the group at the height of their popularity. Fans may remember that Abe Speakeasy also played guitar for the pop punk band Fallout, however relations between the two bands were strained when Speakeasy was fired from Fallout with no apparent explanation. Abe Speakeasy is currently involved in a documentary filming in Germany, Dan is involved in a personal vendetta against the ideas and theories of Pythagorus, Akira has been in Japan studying the habits of large reptilian monsters, Marxist Mike has been off doing pinko things, and Dom passed away.
