Plot Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Anant Shrivastav (Amitabh Bachchan) is assigned to escort accused terrorist Iqbal Ansari (Atul Kulkarni) from Chandangarh to Mumbai, so that he may appear in court. A terrorist organization seems determined to free him. The organization is led by Yashwant Angre (Ajay Devgan), a ruthless killer and a former police officer. DCP Anant's team consists of Senior Inspector Shekhar Verma (Akshay Kumar), rookie Inspector Ashwin Gupte (Tusshar Kapoor) and a few constables.
