Key of Atlas are considered one of Belfast's best up and coming new bands. It all began with four best friends realizing that they had a talent for writing songs. Soon after, they formed in late 2008. Key of Atlas are, George Muldrew, Darragh Donnelly, David Gilchrist, Connor Burnside. With their catchy lyrics and anthemic choruses, there isn’t a crowd out there who can’t be moved. Recently chosen as BBC ATL’s Product of Northern Ireland they are getting ready to hit the UK in September with there E.P "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained". Key of Atlas’ track Someone Help Me has already been getting great reviews and was at the No. 1 spot in Northern Ireland’s free download charts for Months! Someone Help Me is regarded as the band’s kick off tune. Much of Key of Atlas’ appeal can be attributed from their enthusiasm and charisma on stage. KOA have a genuine connection like no other, and this is really shows on the stage. They have played with the likes of Ash, Incase of Fire, Oppenheimer, Canterbury, A plastic Rose and Mojo Fury. Although the Key Of Atlas write their songs within a rural setting, their songs seem to fit into any environment. Thanks to this universality, Key of Atlas are really beginning to make waves within the Northern Irish Music Scene. They have been predicted a great future.
