Kevin Tuffy has been silently converting hundreds in London over the past few months. This Ealing born modern day poet has been slowly crafting his Dylan-esque acoustic folk creations with the kind of knack that you thought died in the 70's. You get the impression Kevin would fit right in on the pages of Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road' if 50's Denver was replaced with modern day West London. The "K-Tuff" is what the music industry has been trying to achieve recently, a proper Londoner. He didn't go to stage school, he doesn't sing with a false cockney twang and his lyrics are insightful and subtly very intelligent. Signed to rapper Sway's 'Dycpha' label, he has just released his first EP 'To Be, To Begin'. Close friends Laura Marling and Thom Stone lend a hand with their vocal talents and even label boss Sway cant resist getting a piece of the action.
