Artist
A guitarist as a teen, immersed in the progressive art-rock of the 1970s (King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Yes, Tangerine Dream), Keller began improvising original tone poems on an old piano in his Sacramento, California high school chapel. During college in the mid-1980s, Keller committed himself to the piano and the study of theory, harmony, and composition. A fascination with Claude Debussy's impressionism yielded to wider interests in the ambient textural experiments of Brian Eno and Harold Budd.
