Kerson Leong is a Canadian violinist of exceptional talent and artistry. Born on September 24, 1997, in Ottawa, Canada, Leong displayed a remarkable aptitude for the violin from a young age. He began playing the instrument at the age of four and quickly gained recognition for his prodigious abilities. Leong's musical education included studies at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and the Juilliard School, where he worked with esteemed violinists such as Boris Kuschnir and Itzhak Perlman. These experiences honed his technical skills and nurtured his musical sensibilities, shaping him into a mature and accomplished musician. In 2010, Leong gained international attention when he won first prize at the Junior Division of the Menuhin Competition, a prestigious violin competition.
