Kenneth Ishak was born May 26th 1978, he is half Norwegian and half Malay. His interest in music started when he was three years old and went to music school, and when he was sixteen he started the powerpop-band Beezewax together with some friends. They have released five albums and are considered one of Norway's top live acts. As a solo artist, Kenneth has released three albums so far; Northern Exposure in 2004, Everything Has Soul in 2005 and Silver Lightning From A Black Sky in 2007. Kenneth's musical signature is his light, soft voice - often compared to Jon Auer of the Posies. His songs are melancholy but often uplifting, and his voice is accompanied by guitar and piano.
