In springtime 2005 seven boys climbed up a stage in their hometown Dresden for the first time in this formation and great party was right about to start. Since that day the boys started a blazin' fire in numerous clubs all over germany. By playing a soulful 60's reggae music freshed up with some driving ska tunes and crowned by a punky energetic live show they put a spell on every single guest of their shows. One year after having formed the group the boys recorded 2 songs in their small rehearsal room which you can listen to in the player above. "This Night Is Yours" - a real ska tune and "Mama Earth" - an older track which they've already played in their former band. In the days of august 2007 the band is about to visit a recording studio in cologne and record some brandnew material which will presumably be released in the end of 2007. # Why This Album Merits Attention This ensemble's work captures something genuinely curious: a deliberate collision between 1960s reggae's contemplative soul and ska's propulsive energy, filtered through punk's raw vitality. Rather than treating these influences as separate gestures, they're woven into a coherent sensibility—one that suggests a genuine creative inquiry into how different post-colonial musical traditions might speak to one another. Recorded in a rehearsal room just a year after formation, the album has an immediacy that reflects the band's live intensity without sacrificing compositional thought.
