He is widely regarded as a pioneer of Private School Amapiano, a subgenre of Amapiano that blends smooth jazz elements with deep house influences. With emotional compositions and a refined piano-driven sound, Kelvin Momo has shaped a distinct musical identity in the South African electronic scene. Kelvin's journey into music began with his discovery of the piano. His talent quickly stood out at local events and church services, drawing attention for its expressive quality. These early performances laid the foundation for a career rooted in musicality and soul. As he developed his craft, he joined the emerging Amapiano movement and started collaborating with key figures including Kabza De Small.
