Kellys Heroes (no apostrophe) is the name of a Nottingham, UK-based Celtic folk group. Kellys Heroes are Tony Dugan (vocals, bodhran), Steve Hall (guitar), Helen O'Connell (button accordion, melodeon, keyboards), Simon Chantler (fiddle, mandolin), John Leonard (whistles, banjo, uillean pipes). They have released twelve albums to date, the latest one being Banish Misfortune which was released in December 2013. They can be seen gigging throughout the UK. Kelly's heroes is also a Pop Punk / Electronica band that formed in 2004 and broke up in 2006. Their biggest hit was "Brothas Back". It's rumored the band was named after the movie "Kelly's Heroes".
