about

In September of 2006 Blue Monday played their final show and left Vancouver without a single straight edge hardcore band. Fearing that the edge had gone dull, this break up was the initial impetus for Today’s Man to put together a new group, which came to be known as Keep It Clear. Taking influence form the likes of Floorpunch, Right Brigade, and Ten Yard Fight, Today’s Man began writing songs. In early ’07 Lucas and Kram were recruited, a demo tape was recorded, and a hundred copies were dubbed at Kram’s place of employment when work was slow. Three tapes were mailed to labels, around fifteen were lost at a Get The Most show in Baltimore and the rest were sold by Go It Alone on their final North American tour. After GIA returned from tour Russel joined Keep It Clear on second guitar and Kram’s boss, Andy Morrison, filled out the line up on bass. New songs have been written for an upcoming 7” e.p. to be recorded in the new year.
