Keemiyo aka 'Kimik' started his career in music playing guitar in rock groups in the 1970's. He went to India for the first time in 1978 where he began to play the flute and came into contact with the Rave festivals of psychedelic rock, the precursors of the trance parties happening in Goa during the 1980's. He participated as a resident DJ of Club Rastatoo,D´Noise (Soma),in El Mercado de Fuencarral, etc, where his sessions combined Dub, Breakbeat, and Progressive Trance. In 2002, Keemiyo released his first album entitled “Urban Mystic” with Stonetone Records. This was followed by “Dancing Chakras” in 2004, an experimental music disc; in 2005 “From Here to Now” (progressive trance); and in 2007, “Mindless” with A.I.A.M.
