Japanese musician, famous bamboo flute player, who likes west coast music... Kazu Matsui is a contemporary bamboo flute player. He started his "Kazu Matsui Project" in 1981. Beside the "Project", he has build up a career in playing the traditional Japanese bamboo flute. He is the husband of Keiko Matsui. He produced several of her jazz fusion albums.
