Kazu Kimura

Japanese born Kazu started playing in Tokyo clubs in 1987. Together with DJ Baby Tokio he started underground music parties all over Tokyo and set up Voice Production in 1989. Toured to the United States in 1990, playing in Chicago and Washington DC. Started producing work and released material on Tokyo Explosion, Tokyo's top DJs compilation CD. Moved to Brisbane, Australia in 1993 and started playing at clubs and rave parties. Released a 4 Track EP, 'Sound Media', through Touche's sub label Jam 1995. Played alongside artists such as Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Luke Slater, Carl Craig, Dave Angel, Josh Wink, Carl Cox, Space DJz, Ben Sims, Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, the Advent, Chris Liebing, DJ rush, Damon Wild, Steve Stoll, Steve Bicknell and Derrick Carter.
