29 year-old French producer Katuchat leaves few people indifferent. He enters the label Roche Musique in 2018, year of the release of Anaesthesia, inspired by his personal story, which became a main focus of his artistic process. In his video Spleen, Katuchat introduces a post-apocalyptic world which depicts his physical and psychological stigmas, hinting at his lifelong struggle with health issues. Influenced by British artists such as Four Tet, Burial and Jamie XX, Katuchat creates music both poetic and immersive, distinguishing himself by his intricate and maximalist style.
