Katrise is an Orlando based R&B producer, songwriter, and artist. With 14 years of recording, songwriting, and production experience, she has collaborated with a wide array of writers and artists. She grew up listening to musical greats such as Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Natalie Cole, Lauryn Hill, Tony Toni Tone, Mary J. Blige, The Temptations and more R&B greats. Nevertheless, her primary influence has not stopped her from challenging herself with other genres from reggae to rock. She calls herself an, “all around producer/songwriter.” Katrise most recently recorded her first commercial album effort, “Embrace My Music Vision,” a twelve track R&B album with songs that are all thoroughly tied to the deepest inner recesses of her love for music. The album was released on March 15, 2010 on CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon, and Napster among other distribution. New singles like “Energy” and “Slide With Me” are currently airing on various Internet and FM format stations. One of the songs from her album, “Groove Again (Slide Part 2),” recently received Honorable Mention from the Song of the Year 2009 songwriting contest. Katrise has also collaborated with Chicago land’s Songs 2 Share President, Roberta Annicks on songs such as “uBoy,” “Fly in the Kitchen,” and “Just This Once” all available for license through Songs2Share.com.
