Kim Cheshire BIOGRAPHY Katrina's spine tingling debut single "Ghost" has been tagged the first of many "drop everything and listen" songs off her debut album. The 22 year old national and international award winning songwriter is determined not to go unnoticed as she releases her awe-inspiring debut album in September this year. In March 2009 Burgoyne was awarded an APRA (Australian Performing Rights Association) Professional Development Award. The $12,000 grant sent her to music city Nashville, TN USA. Where Katrina spent a month writing for her much anticipated album titled "White Flag". The album is an honest "open book" exposing lines from her private journal with songs about her fear for the dead of night, advice she wished she could have told herself when dealing with a heartbreak and above all determination and believing in yourself. Ghost was inspired by Katrina's fear of the unknown.
