An old man who heard Katie singing in her mothers arms as a toddler gave her $10 to go towards her music career, and she's been singing ever since. While studying voice performance in university, Katie discovered she had more than just a pretty voice when she picked up a guitar and started writing; she had things to sing about. Katie's songs are like journal entries that give you a peek into her inner most thoughts. She sings them with a voice that’s much bigger than you might expect upon first meeting her. You'll find yourself singing along the first time you hear her and for days after. Katie is currently in the studio recording her first album in her home town, Victoria, BC.
