Katie is 22 years old and is a Chichester born singer/songwriter. Katie has a breadth of musical influences ranging from country to rock and such acts as Thin Lizzy, Queen, Reba McIntyre, Dolly Parton, Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, ABBA, Christina, Rihanna, Kate Bush, and many more…. Katie has received positive reviews from several radio stations and ‘Sound on Sound’ and ‘The MAG’ and has been invited to appear at numerous festivals. She has a 160,000 strong internet fan base worldwide; is popular in the UK, Europe as a whole, the USA, Australia, NZ, South America, Asia and Middle Eastern countries. From the e-mails and comments to her sites it is obvious that she cuts across age ranges and appeals to music lovers of all genres and types. Katie’s music is varied – the 1st album, Comin’ on Strong, is pop Electronica and all the tracks describe various romantic experiences - pain, joy, hurt etc…. and ranges from country through pop to rock. Katie’s 2nd album is darker and the music style is more pop funk – a bit rocky, a bit spare and less produced. Katie has also made 3 music videos, ‘Wrong all along’ which was filmed on location in Lincoln, in a disused, semi-derelict and ghostly mental hospital, ‘Better things to do’ filmed at home and in her parents garden and ‘Terrified’ filmed against the green screen.
