about

Katia Krow is the personal drone and ambient project of Emirati musician Odi Suood Bashir (b. October 8, 2006, Dubai, AE). Drawing from the landscapes of the UAE and his current surroundings in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Suood crafts music that evokes both immensity and isolation, blending electroacoustic composition, field recordings, and experimental electronics. He is the founder of Kay Krow Records, an independent label and creative platform developing a network of experimental artists and writers. Under Kay Krow, he publishes The Big Foist, a zine for underground sound and art, and curates The New Haunt, a compilation series documenting contemporary ambient and drone music-the first of many collaborative projects and releases on the way.
