Kathleen Murray has been writing songs for over a decade. Her approach has evolved but remains true to its roots, as a form of process. Inspired by the farmlands and forest surrounding Santa Cruz, California where she grew up, her music wrestles with the duality of simple truths and spiritual unrest. Released in 2014, her debut album Woodland Voices talks about her process of self-discovery, search for authenticity and “learning how it's not always bold to be alone.” In her upcoming album almost two years later, Kathleen evaluates the differences between hard times and change in a collection of songs that display wisdom beyond her 22 years.
