Between 8 to 13 she was involved in a lot with music theater and learned the importance of dramatic performance. Disney can do that to you! At 13, she began playing bass guitar and had a lot of amazing teachers along the way. Her main teachers were, her brother Nick Lee, her dad Dennis Fox and her vocal coach and mentor, the late Haydain Neale of jacksoul, all of them such amazing and talented masters of their craft. After learning the bass and getting into a groove of it, she wanted to learn everything there was to learn about music. My next thing she challenged herself with was to learn guitar! There are too many bands Katee admires , but she only uses the influence of how creative the bands are.. how they like to experiment with new things, that's great music, real music, music that flows out of you, there is no specific labeled sound. It is more eclectic.
