Kate Simmonds is a worship leader, vocalist and songwriter based from 2007 at Bridgeway Community Church in Northern Beaches, Sydney, Australia, part of the New Frontiers group of churches. Kate and her husband Miles are passionate about God's church, and about helping people to fulfil their potential in God. Darlene Zschech has said: "Success in the kingdom is building into the lives of others." With this motivation, they have moved to Sydney to help build the church in the South Pacific region. New Frontiers has recently planted churches in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan and Cambodia. Until December 2006, they were based at Church of Christ the King, Brighton, UK. For several years they led the large worship team there where a number of other well-known worship leaders and songwriters - Stuart Townend, Dave Fellingham, Paul Oakley, Phatfish and Simon Brading - are also based. In the UK, Kate has been a worship leader at Stoneleigh Bible Weeks, Spring Harvest, Worship Together, Easter People, and leadership conferences for New Frontiers and in Europe and North America. As well as appearing on numerous live worship albums she has released three solo albums: 'Redemption Songs' (2005), 'Heart & Soul' (2002), and 'One day' (2000). Kate's congregational songs include 'When I was lost (There is a new song)', 'We come in Your name (You have been lifted)' and the hymn 'In Him I have believed'.
