Katarzyna Duda (born 22 December 1973 in Warsaw) - Polish violinist . She plays an Italian violin from the early nineteenth century, both classical music and lighter songs jazz . It has a rich repertoire of works from the Baroque to contemporary music. Her first album under the title "Le Streghe," which she recorded with pianist Waldemar Malicki, virtuoso repertoire for violin and piano , was nominated for Frederick in 2000 as the only disc with a violin solo. In her second album "Le Streghe 2" artist accompanied Vratislavia Chamber Orchestra under the baton of John Stanienda . The disc was nominated for the Fryderyk Award '2001. She has recorded a CD of violin music Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz . In 2009 saw the release of A Simple Classic album recorded with classical guitarist Waldemar Gromolakiem and featuring Anna Maria Jopek .
