Karmic Thread is the musical project of multi-instrumentalist and composer Vlad Enescu. It has been previously known as Integral Birth, The E.V. Project and Impar, before finally changing name to Karmic Thread with the release of the project's debut EP, "The Astrolabe". The Project's second EP, "Cancer of the Earth", was released on the 19th of July, 2014. Karmic Thread's style can be described as progressive rock/metal, having been compared to the likes of Animals as Leaders, Periphery and Arcturus. It tries to embody several modern influences without giving in to the all-too-popular "djent" stereotype.
