A very jovial, humble, integrity, intelligent and determined individual (determined to succeed can defined “Karli Owli”. Karl (Karli Owli) Wilson was born on the 13th day of January in the parish of Portland, Jamaica. Rising up with a family of musicians such as Andrew (Joe Culture) Sinclair, manager and keyboard player of the Black Culture Band (best band in the 1990) and his off-springs was a great experience for him. His older brother “Omar” was also a famous Selector on Sound Systems such as Mello Construction and Soul Sonic International (only to name a few) back in the early 90s. With all this intellectual development Karli Owli then decide to become a Dancehall/reggae artist. He then began to gather his own ideas based on reality, lifestyle, naturalism and things he see happening around his surroundings. He became a lot more serious with his music career while living in London. 2002 he started recording dub-plates for Sound Systems around London which he also found helpful based on a promotional level. 2003 he recorded his first Single titled “Uptown Girls” and another track titled “Do You Want More” which was a twist between Dancehall and Techno (progressive house) music. There was also a special “Ragga Mix” for the titled track “Uptown Girls” (all recorded by Ned Bingham, Songwriter/producer for the Ocean Bloem Studio based in London. 2004 the tracks were released Worldwide on a compilation Album titled “Do You Want More” by a very famous Miami based, Progressive
