Karin Dreijer, formerly also known as Karin Dreijer Andersson (born as Karin Elisabeth Dreijer on 7 April 1975 in Nacka, Sweden), also known by their stage name Fever Ray, is a musician and the former lead vocalist of the electronic duo The Knife that they formed with their brother Olof Dreijer. Their vocal style is highly distinct- shrill and piercing, with a heavy Swedish accent. Karin also performs under the guise of Fever Ray, and sung lead vocals in the now defunct indie pop group Honey Is Cool (1994-1999).
