Karen Naomi’s voice is "strong... smoky and smooth" (Pegasus News). On occasion, her stripped-down acoustic performances are tastefully embellished with layered guitar sampling. Her debut album, Blind, was released in 2005. The six song EP features "melodic songwriting," "heartbreaking lyrics," and "an emotional vocal performance" (Music Genome Project). Originally from Dallas TX, she has appeared in the Dallas publications Quick DFW and The Dallas Morning News insert, the Guide. Karen has also appeared on HDNet's True Music w/Katie Daryl. Karen currently resides in Austin, TX and is working on her follow-up full length album. She frequents both Austin and Dallas area venues.
