Kareña K is a singer/saxophonist/songwriter from the UK. Kareña K, singer/songwriter/saxophonist, currently working with Wily Bo Walker on several recording projects including backing vocals for Moon Over Indigo, the forthcoming album from Wily Bo Walker. 'Drive' and 'Same Thing' were released last year on iTunes etc. She also provides the backing vocal arrangements on the début album from The Mescal Canyon Troubadours. Kareña is part of Rattlin Bone, as her alter ego The Vampirettes. The EP 'Speaking Of Happiness' was released in July 2010 on iTunes and the album 'The Life And Death Of..' in February 2011. Who Do You Love and Yesterday Is Here are the latest releases and tasters for the second album, which is destined for release in 2014. Kareña is currently working on her solo album which is produced and co-arranged by Wily Bo Walker. The first single 'Midnight Walk, featuring Ron Bertolet on Tenor/Bari Sax, 2012 Grammy award winner Danny Flam on Trumpet/Trombone, Mingo Lewis, on Congas/Percussion, and Clarky on Bass. Her second single 'Temptation Eyes', a cover of The Grass Roots classic, is being played frequently by soul stations across the UK and Europe. Kareña is also working on a joint album with Wily Bo which has already produced 4 well received releases, the album is scheduled for release in mid 2014.
