Kanui and Lula were a Hawaiian duo formed by William Kanui on hawaiian guitar and his wife Lula, who played ukulele and danced the hula. Very influential at the time, they mixed traditional hawaiian music with vaudeville acts. They recorded in 1922 in Germany and in 1933 in France.
