Kansas City Shuffle formed in January 2007. Lee and Jer spent the previous months writing for the record and producing demos in their studio apartment in Toronto. Lee and Jer left Sudbury in 2005 after the demise of one of Ontario's greatest punk rock bands, Far From Heroes. They teamed up with Grant and Matt, who also have a musical history and let the sparks fly. The debut, Sailboats and Helicopters was recorded over the summer of 2006 and is set for release. The band is busy promoting the record, playing shows and distributing the four song sampler from the album.
