Kamprads is an electronic rockband, founded 2003 in Härnösand, Sweden: Skanfors song / bass / guitar / piano Henkan guitar / backing singer Samuel drums / percussion / glockenspiel A 10-track demo was recorded early in 2003, and in a review Promopop described Kamprads as: "An ELO on antidepressive drugs", and "This is thoughtfull demanding lyrics that wants something in return from the listener! Maybe that´s why it´s so beautiful... Extremely beautiful." During the first summer Kamprads played at alot of different musicfestivals, including Storsjöyran, Östersund. That autumn P3 Demo played "Post Mortem" (former "Stockholm syndrome"). In 2004 the whole band moved to Örebro, and the recording of Thoughts Never Released began. The drums was recorded at Musikhuset by Andreas Karlsson, and the rest was done in Skanfors' apartment where a temporary studio was built. In the spring and summer of 2005 Kamprads finished the recording of 15 songs totally, and the work with mixing and mastering began. That autumn, they had a gig at Storan, Göteborg (Come out and play). An acoustic version of "Dance" was performed at P3 Frank in November. Later that winter Kamprads played unplugged as an opening act for Laleh at Prisma, Västerås, and had a 45-minute live-livegig at P4 Örebro´s "Blå Station". Spring 2006 Kamprads finished the mixing and mastering of their debut album TNR, and September 1th it´s released. December that same year they went on an acoustic California-tour. User-
