The Kammerakademie Postdam was established in 2001 through the merger of the Ensemble Oriol Berlin and Persius Ensemble from Potsdam. From the 2010/2011 season Antonello Manacorda is chief conductor of the Chamber Academy Potsdam. Soloists include Julia Fischer, Sol Gabetta, Albrecht Mayer, Katia and Marielle Labèque, Daniel Mueller-Schott, Christian Tetzlaff, Daniel Hope, Emmanuel Pahud, Baiba Skride, Christine Schäfer, Christiane Oelze, Thomas Zehetmair, Tabea Zimmermann, Steven Isserlis, Kolja Blacher, Gábor and Reinhold Friedrich be won.
