The English band Kaleidoscope (not to be confused with American band of the same era that also played psychedelic rock ) is an almost forgotten band from the late 1960s and early 1970s. The music of Kaleidoscope is firmly rooted in the 1960's. It is intensely vocal, with little instrumental development and short but highly melodic tracks. Albums such as Beatles' "Sgt Pepper" and "Revolver" clearly influenced both the band's melodies and the lyrics. There are few experimental sounds, no electronics and no jamming but the arrangements are tidy with solid drumming and guitars plus vocals by Peter Daltrey. Line-up : - Peter Daltrey / vocals, keyboard - Eddie Pumer / guitar - Steve Clark / bass - Danny Bridgman / drums User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
