Kal Wayman (born in Chicago on June 10th, 1982) also know as Low Kal or by his birth name Khaliq Akhtar is a professional in the banking and marketing industry. Kal Wayman also has written rap since the early age of 12 but only recently has he released his first single "Because I Can" in 2010. Kal has mentioned several influences with his music which includes the likes of Snoop Doggy Dog, Rakim, Wu Tang Clan, Mos Def, Eminem, and Notorious B.I.G. Kal Wayman's dad was from Pakistan and his mother was German/Irish. He credits his upbringing in inner city Chicago for his drive to Rap. At Age 17, Kal took a hiatus from rapping and began his college career. Kal Wayman had received a full college scholarship due to his high school GPA. Kal graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and passed the Series 7 Registered Representative Exam shortly after turning 21. At age 23 Kal started focusing on the mortgage and credit card processing industry. At age 25 Kal Wayman was featured on The La Times, CNBC, and BBC as being one of the more infamous mortgage professionals in the United States due to his racy advertising. One example was when he aired a late night television commercial of women in lingerie who suggested using Kal Wayman as a mortgage broker.
