Kaivol Motak, however foreign or unusual the name may sound, is actually a figment of the imagination of a friend of the band. No actual definition may be found on the net so, they leave such interpretation to the minds of their listeners and prospective fans. The dynamic mix of metal, punk, funk, classic rock, blues, and Hardcore forge the foundation of this uniquely different sounding Virginia Beach - based talent; whom over the past 4 years have proved to be a breath of fresh air to the East Coast and Virginia Metal scene. The band line up is Dan Cunningham (Vocals.Rhythm Guitar), Padraic Kalisek ( Lead Guitar), and John Morton (Bass).The band has recorded and released 3 Albums. Melting Faces - 2008, Wreckless Abandonment - 2009, and The Collection - 2011. Kaivol Motak has had the pleasure of gracing the stages of many reputable venues and bands throughout it's tenure, and has had successes with receiving Radio Airplay. In February of 2010 the band decided to stop playing on a full time basis, but still have made rare live appearances and have continued to write and record . The band would like to thank all of our friends, family, and fans for the years of support, and stay tuned for the Summer of 2012 Release of "The Acoustic Sessions"....The Final Chapter.
