Kaija Lustila (born November 8, 1965 in Kurikka) is a Finnish iskelmä and tango singer. Lustila's career as a singer began in 1982 after she went to an audition for Risto Oja-Lipasti's dance orchestra, where she was so successful that she was allowed to start gigging right away. After a few years, he founded his own band, Bajero, and moved on to a solo career. In the early 1990s, Lustila participated in the television Ykkötähti competition, through which she achieved greater recognition. Fazer Finnlevy's talent scout at the time, Turkka Mali, noticed that she had potential and proposed a recording contract. The first album, written by Mali and composed and arranged by Jari Puhaka, Such Eyes, was released in 1992. It received a lot of radio play. Lustila's second album was released in 1994, and after her third album in 1999, she took part in Syksyn Sävele with the song "Kaukainen tähti" composed by Kari Salli and lyrics by Turkka Mali. Lustila took second place at the Seinäjoki Tango Market in 2009 and has influenced the Tango Market's jury in 2011 and 2012.
