Kabul Babà is a catalan band that came up as a project of musicians from several well known catalan bands. The origins were around 1999, when Cris Juanico (from Ja t’ho diré – Menaix a trua), Xavi Fortuny (from D’Estranquis – RGB Management), Peck (from D’Estranquis – Sopa de Cabra) and Cuco (from Sopa de Cabra) started to play together just for fun and without quiting their own bands. Through the years the name of the band changed from the original "Pebre" to the actual "Kabul Babà".
