KY Deity was formed in 2004 by Guy Noegel. Within the modern information age of manipulation, KY Deity is emerging as a voice of reason to its audience with a driving blend of tightly wound electronic rock. KY Deity cites influences for their music both old and new including Ministry, Queens of the Stone Age, NIN and KMFDM. KY Deity is a symbolism of how people should not blindly follow every idol that’s been handed down or invariably forced upon them. It is in no way to be mistaken for a darker anti-religious or blind anti-political message, but rather one of introspection to find an internal answer.
