Knoeital (Know It All) is an American underground MC hailing from the Santa Clarita Valley in Southern California. Born in Los Angeles on October 16, 1990, Derick Escalante (Knoeital) was always dragged to music. At 12 years old was when Knoeital first discovered his talent and passion for writing, which soon turned into MC'ing. With being involved with rapping came in graffiti, DJ'ing, and breakdancing. Knoeital eventually stuck with rapping and dropped all of the other elements due to lack of practice and/or lost of interest. Now Knoeital didn't always have the same MC name throughout all his years as an MC. Before he once went by the alias "SOWAT" (So What) for his carelessness in the lyrics he would write. He soon dropped the name and then turned to KNOER1, which was his graffiti alias at the time as well. Then the name KNOER1 quickly turned into KNOEITAL. The reason why Knoeital came to be is because of his argumentative ways in always trying to prove his point, even if he is wrong or pisses a lot of people off. Knoeital's style is a very unique and well rounded one. It consist a mix of different human emotions all constructed into one. Knoeital's lyrics all have many things to offer which sound intelligent, funny, out of the wall, and simply real. Knoeital's "Detour Mixtape" is said to be officially released in early 2010, along with ideas for a future album and maybe even some producing action by him.
