Artist Summary Genres: Rock / Indie / '77 punk rock with subtly-edged riot grrl vocals. Debbi N. learned drums in the '90s from punk rocker, Bob Bulgrien, of 'AMQA', & 'Seaweed'. In 2010, she met Chicago musician, Jeff Millar, at a Tacoma house party. Not long after, they formed KLONDIKE KATE!, referencing 1890s gold rush dancer & vaudville star Klondike Kate Rockwell. The duo creates old-school punk rock 'n' roll by combining Debbi's growling vocals & drum beats with Jeff's shredding guitar riffs. The band plays throughout the NW at infamous watering holes such as 'The Blue Moon Tavern', 'The Comet', the 'Funhouse' in Seattle and 'Hell's Kitchen' in Tacoma. Klondike Kate's song 'Alien Invasion' made its debut on 'Northwest Convergence Zone Radio', February 2011. The band's 5-Track EP, 'Psychobilly Express' is available in records stores & online.
