KEN L, born and raised in the city of WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, had an open call for their latest commercial featuring local dancers. KEN L jumped at the opportunity, and was eventually booked and featured in his first commercial. KEN L went on to perform as a backup dancer for various artists throughout the Los Angeles area before eventually finding an agent to represent his talent. It wasn’t long before KEN L began to book commercials and guest starring roles on Television shows such as CHICAGO HOPE, IN THE HOUSE with LL COOL J, and SMART GUY. But KEN L wanted more, so he picked up his writing utensil and began writing. It was then he formed a RAP GROUP called “WESCOVE ADDICTZ” formerly known as “626” with Michael Mandac aka “8 DUBB”. The Duo successful completed an album entitled “LIFE IN THE FAST LANE” which was released independently through out their city of West Covina, California and surrounding areas gaining moderate sales at local mom and pop stores and businesses. While still pushing for success in music industry an opportunity presented in the form of an audition, for a SPIN-OFF television show of “MOESHA” starring R&B sensation BRANDY, entitled “THE PARKERS” starring COUNTESS VAUGHN and comedian MO’NIQUE. The Show was a “HIT” and established KEN L as a certifiable talent in the entertainment industry.
