KC ROBERTS & THE LIVE REVOLUTION is an independent 7-piece original funk band from Toronto. Winners of the 2007 Toronto Independent Music Award for best live act, the band is well-known for its energized live performances. torontomusicscene.ca writes, “Their live shows are absolutely mind-blowing; the band is something entirely unique and influenced by atypical genres.” Matt Bauer of Exclaim! Good Life combines rock intensity with the band’s signature modern funk, resulting in memorable, danceable hooks and beats. Independently recorded, produced and distributed, Parkdale Funk 1 sold 350 copies in its first weekend.
