about

About KamB.I.N.O. I’m sure we all can agree Kevin Garnett was born to play basketball. I mean….when you look at the 7 foot beast of a man you can’t picture him as an investment banker, supreme court judge, or manager at your local Wal-Mart. No way. THAT guy was destined to attack baskets around the NBA with the ferocity of a Tyrannosaurus Rex before he ever set foot on a court. In similar fashion, KamB.I.N.O. was destined to redefine rap before his first word was ever breathed into a microphone….before he ever graced the stage of a crowded auditorium….before he found himself regarded as one of the best lyricists ever to promote “The Kingdom”. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, KamB.I.N.O. has lived life on both sides of the fence—from the hood to the ‘burbs, convicted criminal to hardworking businessman, from sinner to saint. Seeing life from both ends of the spectrum has given him a broad perspective and an almost uncanny ability to make music that transcends racial, social, and spiritual barriers. While his message has helped him gain notoriety in various Christian circles nationwide, his greatest joy comes from knowing he’s being used to reach those outside of the church. “There’s nothing better to me than hearing someone say their friends who AREN’T in the church love my music. We’re supposed to be God’s body right? Well—what good are the arms and hands if they’re so focused on massaging the body that they never really reach out to the lost?” Kam has made it his mission
