This man hails from Trinidad and Tobago,and has been in the entertainment business for the pass 28 years,and has performed with numerous bands from Trinidad and Tobago. These include bands such as, Kalyan, Atlantik, Traffik, K V Charles and Insyte, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Charlie’s Roots, Blue Ventures,and Island Vibes. K V as he is known, has performed in concerts along side the likes of Hugh Masikala,Third World,Tiger,Papa San Machel Montano David Rudder, Denyse Plummer, Lord Kitchener and the Mighty Sparrow to mention a few. Though he is know for his singing,he is also respected as a drummer and percussionist, in the arena. This Sagitarian born has a dynamic way of performing that touches people where ever he goes. His energetic performance earned him the names . There seems to be a never ending turn to his capabilities. His ability to adapt to most genre of music allows him stand out from the rest, hence the reason he’s considered an Entertainer and not a Calypsonian /Soca Artiste. K V Charles have been recording since 1988 when he did his first release with the band Kalyan, From there he went on to record soca songs with the numerous Organizations he had been a part of. To date two of his biggest hits are Byron Lee and the Dragonaires and with Atlantik. Though he is well know as a recording artiste, K V Charles has a unique way of performing live cover versions of many hit songs,such as, Third World, Square one, Lord Nelson, to name a few.
