Artist
"K.G. Young" was a pseudonym used by American songwriter and musician Kenny Young (born Shalom Giskan) during the late 1960s. While he is most famous for co-writing the classic hit "Under the Boardwalk," his work as K.G. Young specifically refers to: "Spider" (1969): A psychedelic pop single released in the UK under the CBS label (catalog #4302) in July 1969. Kenny Young & The English Muffins: An alternate name associated with his band projects during this era. The Yellow Dog: Another band project he formed in the 1970s, though his experimental solo work under variations like K.G. Young began in the late 60s. Young was highly prolific and used numerous aliases during the 1960s and 70s, including Sgt. Smiley Raggs and Yale Hunter.
