Kèmi Adè is challenging the future of soul music. Her debut release ‘Then’ was premiered by COMPLEX UK and over 8000 plays later, she has since worked with Darker Than Wax member, Kei-Li with a remix of the single, supported folk-pop vocalist Denai Moore and has captivated the ears of tastemakers INFINIT and First Ear Radio and cult followings COZY Mag and NANG. Her niche sound can be described as a slow cooked genre gumbo infused with Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, Country, Indie, & Jazz. As singer songwriter to the marrow, she’s always found Catharsis in putting pen to paper. Navigating through the truth and honesty of her emotions, she is able to ink relatable songs lead by her unearthly vocal range.
