Few people had heard of Simian – Arctic Monkeys producer James Ford’s old band – or the first single from their 2002 album, We Are Your Friends, until noisy French dance duo Justice remixed it. They kept the raw-throated chorus, but everything else went to make way for the best disco-house bassline since Daft Punk’s Around the World.
