Time Will Tell was originaslly released in 1978. If U.S. West Coast- style rock with a tinge of the psychedelic is to your liking, look no further. Comparisons have been made to Bob Smith, Michael Angelo and D.R. Hooker, but you can dig deeper than that. There are certainly Arthur Lee's vocal stylings in there, and some of the rhythms of the music recall Love's Forever Changes period. On other tracks there is the haunting quality of H.P. Lovecraft, but this is no homage to the past: the sound of Time Will Tell is very much its own. The production, arrangement and musicianship are all first rate. There's some really precise guitar leads (with a touch of fuzz), backed up by some very intricate and 'spacey' keyboard work. The vocals are very strong too. They're not afraid to try harmonies either! A very modern-sounding rock/psych album indeed. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
